Emotional Support & Wellbeing Group
In-clinic
Our Emotional Support and Wellbeing Group is run in person at our Centre in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
How We Can help
Emotional Support & Wellbeing
We all need emotional support from others but at times it can feel as if there is no one to turn to. We may have well-meaning family, friends, and neighbours who want to give us their opinions when we are going through a difficult time. However, their well-intended advice may mean they are not truly listening to us.
Whether you are going through a break-up, have lost a loved one, are feeling depressed, anxious, stressed or alone our group may offer you the support you need. It doesn’t matter if you are 18 or 81 or who you identify as, the group is open to everyone.
Please note, this group has evolved from our anxiety support group, we now include all types of emotional support and well-being.

Group Information
There are group guidelines to keep the group safe. You will be expected to maintain the confidentiality of the group and respect group members and they will be expected to do the same for you. We have a few groups running that target specific areas of mental health and wellbeing. However, we thought it would be nice to offer a space that was open to all types of emotional support and psychological difficulties. As people, we have different challenges but all we share the same emotions.
Sessions
The group meets on the 4th Saturday of the month from 11:00am – 12:30pm. There will be plenty of space for you to explore how you feel. Please don’t worry if you do not feel comfortable speaking, you are welcome to just come along and listen until you feel comfortable enough to join in. Some months we will have a topic for the group to explore or we may view a short video and have a discussion around it.
The group is facilitated by a qualified counsellor so you will be in safe hands. It is also free to attend.
If you would like further information or would like to come along to the group please email info@cherrytreetherapycentre.co.uk or call 020 8506 1868.
