The Relationship Clinic

In-clinic

Our relationship support group is run in-clinic at our Centre in Buckhurst Hill.

How We Can help

Families, Couples & You

It’s not uncommon to experience difficulties in relationships, where we feel we cannot burden others or feel that if we were to share, we would either be judged or receive biased opinions and advice.

Sometimes all we want is to be listened to, heard and maybe learn how to think outside the box.

We Offer:

  • Support
  • Understanding
  • Psychoeducation
  • A safe space to talk and reflect

Helps With:

Our relationship support group aims to help you with:

  • Difficulty coping with and understanding intense feelings
  • Safe space to discuss your thoughts and feelings
  • How to communicate and understand your partner better
  • Feelings of loneliness and isolation

Our Group Information

Whether you want to improve a current relationship, are anxious about a new one or dealing with the breakdown of a current or past relationship, our group may offer you the support you need. No matter your age or sexual orientation, you are all welcome.

The group is aimed at not only helping others deal with issues within their present and past relationships but to discuss topics which have arisen in the media and to explore other people’s take on it.

This group has been created by two counsellors at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, as they realise that relationship struggles have increased since the pandemic and made worse by the financial crisis. We realise that the key factors of issues which arise in relationships include, communication, sex, and life changes.

We promise to offer you a safe and non-judgmental space to air concerns and share opinions.

The group will be facilitated by Jude and Serife, both qualified counsellors at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre. The group will agree to confidentiality, to allow everyone to feel safe, to share their stories and views. Everyone will show their respect to the group, by remaining accepting of all.

The group will aim to meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month, starting with Saturday 11th March, between 10 am – 11.30 am.
