Nick Young is a trainee Integrative Counsellor and Coach based at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Buckhurst Hill. He is in the second year of his MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching at the University of East London and is a student member of the BACP. Nick works with clients in person and online.
As a counsellor, Nick prioritises building a strong empathetic working partnership with clients, developing a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel free to talk through their experiences, explore their thoughts and feelings while working towards inner harmony.
In addition, clients with particular goals or aspirations draw upon Nick’s coaching skills to work on strategies to enable them to achieve and sustain the personal transformation they are looking for.
Prior to counselling, Nick Young’s professional background was in education, and more recently in the charity sector where he has held various leadership roles. Having lived and worked in 5 different countries on 3 different continents, his professional and personal background reflects an open mind, a love of diversity and multi-culturalism, as well as a strong desire to develop and empower people to achieve their potential.
