Yes — counselling is a confidential space. The only exception is if there’s a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, in which case your therapist will discuss any necessary next steps with you first, wherever possible.

 

The cost of individual counselling varies depending on which therapist you see, as each sets their own fee. On average, you can expect to pay £60 to £80, but this can vary, especially if you are accessing specialised support. We also offer low-cost counselling with trainee therapists for those who may find full-fee sessions difficult to access. Please get in touch to discuss your needs, and we’ll help you find a suitable option.

Free counselling is only available through our School Staff Programme for employees of partner schools in the Epping Forest area. However, we do offer a low-cost counselling service for those who may not be able to afford full-fee sessions. These are provided by trainee therapists in the final stages of their training and are carefully supervised to ensure high-quality support.
