Tania Sansom
Integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapist
About Me
Tania is an integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapist based at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Buckhurst Hill.
As an integrative counsellor, she draws from different approaches (eg CBT, person-centred, solution-focused and somatic), depending on each client’s preferences and goals.
Tania is a Lifespan Integration trained therapist. This approach uses timeline repetition to support clients towards healing from attachment wounds and traumatic incidents that are stored in the body – effectively bringing the nervous system to a sense of here-and-now safety.
Collaboration is key to Tania’s approach and she works with each client to establish their therapeutic goals – these may shift over time, so ongoing dialogue and review is paramount.
Tania is friendly, laid-back and welcoming. She strives to co-create a safe space with each client where they can explore their thoughts, feelings and memories in a secure, non-judgemental environment.
She is equally happy to see clients in person or online, on either a short- or long-term basis.
