About Me

Carolyn Welsford is a Chartered Physiotherapist at Cherry tree Therapy Centre in Buckhurst Hill.

She is qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Manchester in 2003. She has since gained extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy both in the NHS and the private sector.

Carolyn offers expert assessment and treatment for a wide range of muscular and joint problems. She has a specialist interest in soft tissues injuries and postoperative rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery. She enjoys helping clients achieve their goals in order to return to the full function of daily life.

Fifteen years ago, Carolyn trained in acupuncture and became a member of the AACP which allows her to use acupuncture for pain relief, as part of her treatment repertoire.

In addition, to being a chartered physiotherapist Carolyn Welsford is trained to teach pilates on a 1:1 basis as well as classes and is also a qualified FitBack and Bumps Instructor. This enables her to carry out antenatal and postnatal educational and exercise classes.
