The name itself ‘Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)’ may sound a little technical but it is in fact an easy to use and incredibly powerful set of practical techniques and strategies. These can be used to help to ‘reprogram’ your mind to:
NLP was created in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder who recognised the links between human Neurology, the use of Linguistics (language), and behavioural patterns that we learn through teachings and life experiences (programming). The methods used help to programming the mind to learn to run our own brains in the best possible way as opposed to letting our brains run us in ways we don’t always want. We learn things very easily, including negative things. These behaviours become automatic as we repeat them. NLP can help you to ‘unlearn’, or reprogram, certain unhelpful habits and behaviours. Your own sort of personal upgrade!
