Seeking Help

Do you feel anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed?
Have you experienced a significant event recently or earlier in life that you’re ready to explore or unpack?
Perhaps you have experienced a loss or suffered abuse.
Do your personal values and beliefs differ from societal or cultural norms, expectations, or pressures?
Do you struggle to maintain healthy relationships, whether at work or at home?

Whatever the reason you’re considering counselling, Wendy Harding can offer you a safe, confidential space to talk things through. She understands how daunting it can be to share your thoughts and emotions with someone. The time and space you share will allow you to speak about whatever you choose, at your own pace and depth, no matter how ‘big or small’ it feels, and without judgment. You’ll have the opportunity to explore your problems, experiences, and goals without feeling the need to put others’ feelings first, giving you the chance to address things that have been bothering you, whether recent or bottled up since childhood.

Wendy Harding is often described as naturally kind, warm, genuine, and open-minded. This, combined with her training and personal experience of working through life’s challenges, has helped her develop the skills and understanding that she brings to her work, allowing her to empathize with clients on a deeper level.

She offers face-to-face, online, and telephone sessions and is qualified to Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling, working with a person-centered approach. Wendy is a registered member of the BACP and has experience working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, emotional and sexual abuse, disordered eating, apostasy, relationship struggles, and general life challenges.

Wendy welcomes clients from all cultural backgrounds, all genders, and all sexual orientations.

She also offers a free initial chat to see if she is the right therapist for you.
