Sophie Gladstein Sleep Coach

Sophie Gladstein

Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Infant Sleep Consultant

Sophie Gladstein is an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a background in both private practice and the third sector. Her therapeutic work spans a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship challenges, bereavement, and loss, particularly within the Armed Forces and Hospice community and among families affected by injury or death.

Sophie offers a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. Her integrative approach is primarily person-centred but also draws on other therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. This allows her to tailor her work to the unique and evolving needs of each client.

Postnatal Mental Health Support

More recently, Sophie has specialised in supporting new mothers, focusing on the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise during conception, pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. Recognising the lack of support available to new parents, Sophie facilitates postnatal support groups designed to help mothers navigate the early stages of parenthood. These groups provide a compassionate environment to share experiences and receive professional guidance.

As a qualified Infant Sleep Consultant, Sophie takes a holistic approach to maternal wellbeing—acknowledging that infant sleep and maternal mental health are deeply interconnected. Her work also incorporates support around infant feeding, ensuring comprehensive care for both mother and baby.
