Dr Shireen Sultana is a highly experienced Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapist and EMDR Practitioner, with over 18 years of clinical experience within NHS mental health services and private practice. She has extensive expertise in providing specialist assessment and treatment to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, complex trauma, long-term health conditions, as well as complex emotional needs such as personality disorders and bipolar disorder.
In addition to offering trauma-informed, evidence-based, NICE-recommended therapies, Shireen is passionate about working with neurodiverse conditions. She conducts specialist diagnostic assessments for Autism and ADHD. For Autism, she uses ADOS-2, widely considered the gold standard for Autism assessment, alongside 3Di and other diagnostic tools. For ADHD, Shireen employs the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults (DIVA) and Young DIVA for children, alongside other corroborative evidence.
