Hello, I’m Rachel Evans, a person-centred counsellor (BACP registered) with a background of over 37 years in healthcare in both the NHS and the Independent sector. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through many different stages of life, and this experience has shaped the way I work today, with warmth, understanding, and respect for each person’s unique story.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Whether you’d prefer to meet face-to-face, online, or by telephone, I’ll work with you in a way that feels most comfortable.

I support people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, social anxiety, loss and bereavement, family trauma, relationship difficulties, mental health challenges, anxieties around family relationships, and work-related stress, including burnout.

No problem is too large or too small. Whatever brings you to counselling, I will offer the same level of care, respect, and support to help you move towards what you need.

I understand how important it is to find time that works around life’s commitments, so my hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am–7pm (except for Friday mornings)

My hope is to walk alongside you as you explore what matters most to you, helping you find clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. Sessions are for 50 minutes and cost £70 (I offer a limited number of low-cost sessions; feel free to enquire)

I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB ID 331875), BSc Social Science (Hons), Registered Nurse ( Adult, Child & Mental Health) , PGCE (Nurse Tutor )
