Liane Griffin Counsellor

Liane Griffin

Individual & Couple Therapist

My name is Liane Griffin, and I am a qualified individual and couples therapist. I work from Buckhurst Hill and offer both face-to-face and online sessions.

My training and experience as a counsellor, and my background in the personal development world, have shaped a deep and empathic understanding of the many struggles people encounter in life. My own journey has been filled with introspection, patience, and growth, which has given me a strong appreciation for the role that support and guidance can play during difficult times. These values are at the heart of my work as a therapist.

As a person-centred counsellor, I offer you the space to explore, at your own pace, what is happening for you now, or what has happened in the past, in a safe and compassionate environment. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings with curiosity and notice how they’re affecting you. Working in this way can help you to make sense of your experiences and move towards healing.

Although I am trained in the person-centred approach, I work intuitively, which means each client’s process is unique. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you discover what that looks like for you.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

I have trained with Relate to work with couples and support them in navigating challenges such as conflict, miscommunication, financial stress, infidelity, or a lack of intimacy.

Relationship counselling can be helpful at any stage, from new relationships and pre-marriage to long-term partnerships. Many couples use therapy as a holding and reflective space to focus on the quality of their connection, love, and communication.

Couples and relationship therapy with Liane Griffin is inclusive and welcoming to all couples, whether you are living together or apart, married or unmarried, straight or LGBTQI+.
