Therapeutic Counsellor
Hayley Phillips is a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor with a Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. She works with adults, young adults, and children aged 11 and over. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), Hayley follows the BACP code of ethics for good practice and is registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced at different stages of life, Hayley offers a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in confidence.
She understands that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting. Her aim is to help you feel safe enough to talk openly about the things you may find difficult, offering a non-judgemental and confidential space to begin your journey.
Hayley supports clients to clarify their thoughts and emotions so they can make more conscious choices that improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or self-esteem, Hayley’s goal is to empower clients of all ages to develop effective coping strategies and build resilience. Through a warm and nurturing therapeutic relationship, she encourages open communication and works alongside clients to support meaningful, lasting change.
Hayley regularly engages with ongoing professional development and keeps up to date with the latest research and therapeutic approaches. She blends evidence-based methods with a person-centred approach to ensure her counselling work remains supportive, adaptable, and empowering.
Fertility and Baby Loss Specialist Counselling
Hayley Phillips is a recognised Infertility and Rainbow Baby Specialist, with experience supporting both men and women through fertility challenges. She provides a safe and understanding space to explore the emotional complexities of infertility, including the stress of treatment, the impact on relationships, and the often overwhelming feelings of uncertainty.
Hayley has also worked with the Foundation for Infant Loss, deepening her understanding of the emotional and physical reactions following miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal loss. She offers compassionate support through grief and adjustment, as well as counselling for those who choose to try for a subsequent pregnancy, often known as a “rainbow baby.” This journey can bring anxiety and fear, and Hayley offers a steady, supportive presence through every stage.
