Delisha Baldwin

Delisha is currently completing her Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at ELECT Training Centre. As a trainee counsellor, she offers a thoughtful and supportive space where you can begin to explore what feels difficult, confusing or overwhelming in your life.

Working from a person-centred approach, Delisha believes that meaningful change happens when you feel truly heard and accepted. She offers a calm, reflective and empathetic presence in the room, allowing you the time and space to talk openly, without pressure or judgement.

Delisha supports adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, bereavement and difficulties with self-esteem. She is particularly interested in how our life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others. Through gentle exploration, she aims to help you develop greater self-understanding, emotional awareness and confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

Before training as a counsellor, Delisha spent over ten years working within the NHS, care settings and schools, including supporting children with special educational needs. Working closely with vulnerable adults and young people has strengthened her compassion, resilience and sensitivity to the impact of emotional distress. She also engages in reflective writing around motherhood, identity and emotional healing, which continues to inform her developing practice.

Delisha offers in-person sessions in Buckhurst Hill on Fridays from 10am–2pm (in person) and on Sundays from 10am–2pm (online).
