Cathryn is a trainee counsellor currently working towards completing her Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at ELECT Training, focusing on offering person-centred therapy.
Person-centred therapy empowers you to guide your own therapy, trusting that you have the innate ability to grow and, with your counsellor’s empathic support, find your own solutions.
Cathryn creates a calm, quiet and focused space in which you can feel comfortable to open up and explore whatever might be concerning you. And her reflective and thoughtful responses can help you feel truly heard, understood and accepted. She believes in the famous paradoxical insight on acceptance and change:

Cathryn also has a particular interest in supporting clients who are trying to conceive or who are on their own personal fertility journey. After experiencing a decade-long fertility journey herself, during which she was supported by invaluable counselling services, she feels honoured to be able to help support others.
Cathryn is a student member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and complies with the BACP’s Ethical Framework to ensure that she is always working in the best way to support you.
Cathryn offers low-cost in-person counselling to adults on Thursdays (8am – 4pm).
