Belinda Evans
Therapeutic Counsellor
It can be a tough first step to reach out and acknowledge that you need to enter into counselling. Maybe you have been struggling for a while and are finding it difficult to cope with your emotions and issues, and need a safe space to explore and process them.
My name is Belinda Evans and I am a BACP accredited Psychotherapeutic Integrative Counsellor working with Adults and Young Persons (age 16 +) at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, Buckhurst Hill, Essex. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling. I provide both short-term and open-ended counselling, with regular reviews to ensure effective collaboration.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with ongoing supervision and continued professional development (CPD).
I qualified as a therapist in 2016 and have gained experience working and training within the NHS as a qualified Complex Bereavement Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, as well as working in Counselling Agencies, Employer Assistance Programmes (EAP) and managing my own Private Practise. I qualified as an accredited counsellor in February 2025 and also work with BUPA clients.
My training included a four-year Diploma Course where I have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Person-Centred Approach as well as additional training and certificates in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Transactional Analysis, Solution Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic and Gestalt Therapies.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of meaningful change. I bring empathy, warmth and a non-judgmental presence to each session, collaborating with you to explore thoughts and emotions, building self-awareness and strengthen confidence in your decisions.
