Coaching, on the other hand, is more action-oriented and future-focused. It involves:
As a therapist, Attila Kent has experience working with trauma, depression, and anxiety. With a background in theatre, Attila has a unique understanding of the exploration of our emotional world and how it impacts our daily lives. Having undergone therapy himself throughout his training, he fully understands how vulnerable one can feel when embarking upon this journey of self-exploration. However, he believes the unique nature of the therapeutic relationship can be liberating. It provides an opportunity to step back from expectations into a non-judgemental, empathetic, and reflective space where you can feel listened to and truly heard.
Attila is deeply committed to supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing. He facilitates our Men’s Wellbeing Group at the Buckhurst Hill Centre, offering a steady, reflective space where men can talk openly, connect with others, and explore what’s going on beneath the surface. The group meets fortnightly on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
