Nutritional Therapy

Next session: November 30, -0001 at 00: 00 AM
Good quality nutrition helps to support our daily bodily functions. What we eat also plays an important role in managing our moods, energy levels, and mental wellbeing. Eating naturally-sourced produce – with the appropriate fats, proteins, and carbohydrates – provides the hormones, amino acids, and vitamins we all need to achieve our daily tasks. Each person is unique and their need for certain nutrients differs greatly – which is why it’s important to work with a registered nutritional professional who has experience in the specialist area that supports your goals.

In addition to improving your mental wellbeing and moods, eating well can also reduce stress and improve your overall physical health. Healthy eating will also help you to maintain a healthier body mass index, decreasing your risk of cardiovascular disease and improving your cells’ sensitivity to insulin. We do not look at dieting as such: we consider food to be a factor in your overall lifestyle. By eating well and giving your body the nutrients it needs, every aspect of your health will improve.

What you can expect from a session

The first consultation lasts around an hour and 30 minutes, to enable the practitioner to gather the information needed to help you. This includes details of your personal health history, your current diet, and identifying any lifestyle factors that might impact your plan.

After your initial visit, we recommend a follow-up consultation every 4-6 weeks while you are working on a plan. This involves monitoring your individual progress and recommending necessary adjustments to achieve your goals.

Follow-on sessions are 1 hour in duration.
