Cynthia Kelchure-Cole is an Integrative Counsellor, Coach and Therapeutic Social Worker based at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, Buckhurst Hill and Henley-on-Thames. Cynthia is also a qualified ADHD Assessor and is registered by the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Cynthia believes that therapy works best when it is not forced and when you feel comfortable, her aim is to build a trusting and authentic relationship, by listening and responding with genuine compassion.   Her sessions will take the direction and pace that you decide and are comfortable with.   She integrates counselling and coaching techniques that allow you to look at past patterns of behaviour, while identifying your strengths, so that you can look forward and develop techniques and strategies that facilitate and support personal development, growth, and permanent change.

Cynthia understands that sometimes sharing personal thoughts and feelings to someone outside of your family or social circle can be challenging and frightening.   Taking this step with her allows you to create a safe space that is a non-judgement zone.  She will walk alongside while supporting you to safely make sense of any challenges that you face.   She is aware and respectful of cultural differences, while acknowledging cultural preferences and norms, that supports open and respectful dialogue, so that you are equipped to make appropriate decisions which are right for you.
