We understand that renting a consulting room is a financial commitment. However, we like to think that at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre you get more than just a room.
Join our team and you will be part of an amazing, therapeutic community that will provide you with ongoing support for your practice.
Room 7 is located at Number 5, Station Parade. Walk through the Cherry Tree Therapy Centre’s front door, and you will find this bright, welcoming room just to your left.
This spacious room is set up for: Counselling, Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Coaching, Mediation, Supervision, Family Therapy and Medical Consulting. This room may also be used to hold small groups of 3 people.
Room 7 has a doorbell entry system so the client can alert you to their arrival without disturbing other Centre users. You can buzz clients into the building where the client can either come straight into the room or be directed to the waiting area.
Room 7 is a spacious room with a large south-facing picture window that allows sunlight to stream in. The room includes cream, vertical blinds for shade and privacy. In addition to mechanical ventilation, it has two openable windows to allow fresh air to circulate throughout the room.
We believe that if you are renting a consulting room, it should feel as if you are sitting in your favourite living room. Therefore, we have painted in a calming but warm neutral tone with silver and light duck egg blue accents. The room is filled with soft furnishings for an inviting, cosy feel. It has a comfortable, dark grey double sofa from Made.com and a silver and grey shaggy rug on the light natural, laminate floor. The sofa is accompanied by a soft, velvet grey coloured tub armchair alongside three plush cream cushions and a cosy silver-grey blanket for the clients use.
On the wall there is a stunning duck egg blue and white three-piece canvas photo, to tie in the accent colours of the room. This room also has a large white-board on the wall (tucked behind the door) for therapists and clients to use. Pens and an eraser are provided, although we ask therapists not to take them home. There are a few potted plants in the room, which brings nature into the space and increases the natural flow of the room, providing clean, fresh air.
As well as the abundance of natural light in this room, there are ceiling lights and two warmly lit lamps if a softer ambience is required.
For those hot summer months (yes, we know they are rare!), we have a cooling system and on those extra hot days, we provide extra fans. For those cool, winter days we have heaters throughout that can be adjusted for temperature and airflow.
We take health and safety seriously and this room has a fire door with a magnetic opening system and an emergency light which will guide you to the exit in the event of an emergency.
Each room has additions such as; tissues, drink coasters, bins, antibacterial wipes, a clipboard, and a clock for clients and therapists’ use.
