Adult Counsellors & Psychotherapists in Buckhurst Hill

At Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, we have a large and experienced team of adult counsellors and psychotherapists, supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

Not sure who to choose? You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
We’ll help you find someone who feels right for you.

With so many different therapists, it’s not always easy to know who will feel like the right fit. Many people arrive feeling unsure where to start, or worried about choosing “the wrong” person. That’s completely understandable.

You don’t have to work this out on your own. We’ll take the time to understand what’s going on for you and help guide you toward a therapist who fits your needs, preferences, and availability.

Our team works across a range of approaches, including CBT, person-centred, integrative, psychodynamic, and creative therapies, so there is flexibility in how we support you, without you needing to have it all figured out before you begin.

FAQs

Each therapist sets their own fee, but you can generally expect to pay between £60–£90 per session, depending on who you work with. We’ll talk you through your options before you commit.

Our team includes therapists trained in CBT, integrative, psychodynamic, Gestalt, creative, and person-centred approaches. We also work with a range of other methods. Simply ask, and we’ll help you find a therapist whose style suits you best.

There’s no set timeframe. Some people come for a few sessions, others find longer-term work more helpful. You’re in control and can stop whenever you're ready.

Yes, that’s absolutely okay. A good fit is really important, and we’ll support you in finding someone else if needed.

If cost has been putting you off getting support, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We offer low-cost counselling options from £30.

Yes, we also have adult counsellors based in Henley-on-Thames. If Henley is more convenient for you, you’re very welcome to explore our team there.
