Karen Harrison – Nutritionist in Buckhurst Hill

BSc (Nut Sci) Dip CNM mBANT

I am an experienced nutritionist in Buckhurst Hill; my training has educated me to use a scientific and functional medicine approach.

The world health organisation defines health as:

“A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”(1)

I work with my clients to establish the best protocol (plan) using nutrition and lifestyle management that helps you to continue to be healthy.

Over the years of practicing I have helped many people make positive nutritional changes especially when we are subjected to many influences that take us away from a ‘healthy eating regime.’

The importance of a ‘balanced diet’ is underestimated and the benefits could change the quality of your life.

Each protocol I put together is unique to you, using tools to assist me to identify potential imbalances. Imbalances have been found to provide the environment for symptoms/disease to occur.

Nutrition is NOT a replacement for medical advice and if any sign or symptom is found, I will ask you to refer back to your G.P.

I am fully insured and a full member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional therapy. (BANT)

My qualifications include:

  • BSc Nutritional Science
  • Diploma Nutritional Therapy
  • Diploma Naturopathy
  • NLP Practitioner (ANLP)
